Dual Credit Opportunities

新葡京app双学分

Courses designated for dual credit allow a student to receive both high school credit toward a diploma and also college credit from a specified institution. Eastern Christian high school has dual credit courses which are offered in our classrooms in partnership with Seton Hall University in our Project Acceleration program. Upon completion of a course, the student receives credits on a college transcript. These credits transfer to most colleges but their transferability is ultimately decided by the college which the student attends. The college credit cost is greatly reduced and paid for by parents.

This program may allow students to accumulate enough credits to graduate up to a year early, resulting in substantial savings on college tuition.

Am I automatically enrolled in Project Acceleration?
No. 学生 who wish to receive college credit must register using a Seton Hall University form during the first month of class. Some students choose to take classes for high school credit only, but we recommend signing up to receive college credit at the substantially reduced rate (the workload is identical).

When students apply to college, they request a transcript directly from Seton Hall University in order for their Project Acceleration credits to be received and reviewed by the prospective college.
